Just when I thought the networks had hit rock bottom, they go and prove me wrong. The infamous trick turner Ashley Dupre is allegedly negotiating her own reality show. Yes, you read me.
I guess I’m not totally surprise by the actions of Governor Spitzer’s jump-off, but damn! Aren’t we supposed to learn from our mistakes—versus profiting off of them?
I know the line in the sand was blurred a long time ago, as it pertains to television, but it is a sad day when networks are actually considering giving a prostitute her own Dr. Phil-esque reality show. Whatever!
There is nothing wrong with providing the young lady with a 20/20 special, so she could explain where she went wrong in life. Or sitting her down with Oprah, so "O" can guide her to her “aha moment.” But I guess that would make less money than the reality show, huh?
So instead of turning tricks as an escort, Ashley Dupre will prostitute for the networks. Or will she be the pimp?
I digress, but does anyone care about the message that this sends to children?
